Eventhough the years have passed, just finding out in 2009 of Karl's passing has brought great sadness to me. I knew Karl since we were eight years old. Since we we lived miles apart, I always had great memories of Karl when we would surf our favorite spots with other great friends in San Pedro. My family hopes his family has everlasting strength.
